Field Laboratories
Materials Consultants is accredited to establish Field Laboratories which can be placed onsite for contracts where it is not viable for testing to be undertaken from the Osborne Park Laboratory. These field laboratories can be in two different forms;
Mobile Laboratory
Annex Laboratory.
A mobile laboratory can be located anywhere and has NATA approval to service multiple clients or contracts within its capacity.
An annex laboratory is established with approval by NATA to operate under Materials Consultants Pty Ltd Osborne Park’s accreditation number, with a specific site recognition number. An annex laboratory can only service one or more specific contracts which NATA has approved it for. It operates under the supervision of the base laboratory and has an approved signatory located onsite at all times.
